Promoting recycling

**12 June 2025** **Drosia Primary School (K.B.)** **SDG 12 – Responsible Consumption and Production | SDG 13 – Climate Action | SDG 4 – Quality Education** **2023–2024** Using the funds generated through the Tiganokinisi programme, the school purchased ten dual-compartment recycling bins with a shared stand for paper and plastic. These bins will be placed in the school’s classrooms to encourage both students and teachers to recycle correctly. Each class has appointed recycling monitors who, on a rotating basis, are responsible for emptying the classroom bins into the school’s larger recycling containers. Through this initiative, the school aims to strengthen recycling habits, promote environmental responsibility, and foster a culture of sustainability within the school community.
