Το καραβάνι της Τηγανοκίνησης επέστρεψε στη Λευκωσία και επισκέφτηκε το Γ’ Δημοτικό The Tiganokinisi caravan returned to Nicosia, visiting the 3rd Kaimakli Primary School and the 7th Lakatamia Primary School. It then headed to the villages of Pitsilia, where it visited Pelendri Primary School and Kyperounta Primary School on the same day, as well as Palaichori Kindergarten and Palaichori Primary School.
Mrs Maria Eleftheriou, the headteacher of Pelendri Primary School, spoke very highly of the Tiganokinisi programme and encouraged the children to share at home everything they would learn during our visit. The school also took the initiative to prepare its own leaflet with information about Tiganokinisi, which will be distributed throughout the local community. Finally, Mrs Angela, the school’s beloved cleaner, is a true Tiganokinisi ambassador, regularly reminding the residents of the village to bring their used cooking oil to the school for recycling!
