The last schools we visited in the Paphos district were Polis Chrysochous Primary School and Pefkios Georgiadis Primary School. Travelling from Polis Chrysochous towards the centre of Paphos, we noticed how the landscape changes, particularly in relation to the reduction of local vegetation. At Polis Chrysochous Primary School, the children spend their break sitting in the shade of pine trees and other endemic Cypriot species, with a view of the sea.
