Tree Planting Activities Within and Beyond the School Grounds

Agia Fylaxeos Gymnasium used funds generated through the Tiganokinisi programme to carry out tree-planting activities both within and outside the school grounds, contributing to the expansion of green spaces in the school yard as well as in the surrounding neighbourhood. Students actively participated in planting and caring for the trees, taking on responsibilities and developing a stronger sense of environmental awareness.

Through this initiative, the school strengthens students’ connection with nature, promotes collaboration, and raises awareness among the wider school community about the importance of protecting and caring for the natural environment.
