The school used funds from the Tiganokinisi programme to purchase irrigation hoses, a composter, plants, and vegetables.
Through the financial support provided by the Tiganokinisi program, the school purchased plants and vegetables to create a school vegetable garden. The aim of this initiative was not only to beautify the schoolyard but also to actively involve students in the process. Students learned how to create and maintain a green space, observed the growth of seeds and plants, and developed an understanding of their importance and value.
To ensure efficient and effective watering of the plants and herbs in the school garden, the school also purchased irrigation hoses.
At the same time, the composter helps reduce waste while improving the quality of the soil in the school garden. More specifically, the compost produced is used as organic soil for the herb garden created by the students.
