Wooden bird nests and insect hotel

The IA’ Primary School of Pafos – Agios Spyridonas utilised funds from the Tiganokinisi program for actions that enhance experiential environmental education and local biodiversity.

Specifically, ten wooden bird nests were constructed, and a feeder-drinker, a hedgehog nest, and an “insect hotel” were installed in various areas of the school, providing shelter for local organisms. At the same time, the purchase of tablets strengthened inquiry-based learning, giving students more tools to approach the environment and other subjects with autonomy and creativity.
